About Me

Franya Jedwab; Registered Clinical Counsellor

I am a warm-hearted and respectful individual with 13 years of counselling experience. I work to help create an opportunity for client empowerment, learning and growing in the process.

I have worked in a variety of non-profit counselling organizations; community resource centers; school settings; women and parent anti-violence organizations; daycare settings; and group homes.

My education:

I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am also a registered counsellor with the BC Crime Victim Assistance Program.

I specialize in: trauma; parenting; child and teen counselling; play therapeutic approaches; LGBTQ and diversity; cultural and first nations counselling; response-based approaches, anti-violence work; anxiety; mental health; and depression. I also specialize in childhood reactive attachment work.
