Warm, Collaborative Counselling Rooted in Compassion and Connection
Healing begins with feeling safe enough to be yourself.
I believe counselling is about creating a space where you can slow down, feel genuinely heard, and begin making sense of whatever life is asking of you right now. Whether you're navigating anxiety, parenting, relationship challenges, trauma, neurodiversity, or a major life transition, my role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect as we discover what healing and growth can look like for you.

Franya Jedwab, MA, RCC
Registered Clinical Counsellor
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Duncan, British Columbia, offering in-person counselling throughout the Cowichan Valley and secure online counselling across BC.
I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and accepted. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore life’s challenges without judgment and at a pace that feels right for you.
With over 20 years of counselling experience, I have had the privilege of walking alongside children, youth, adults, couples, and families through some of life’s most difficult seasons. Again and again, I’ve witnessed the strength and resilience people discover when they feel genuinely supported.
Over the years, I’ve learned that meaningful change begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, respected, and understood. It is a privilege to witness healing and growth, and that continues to inspire my work every day as I support clients in moving toward greater resilience, hope, and well-being.
Whether you’re facing anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or a significant life transition, my role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and respect as we work toward the changes that matter most to you.

A Few Things I Believe
Healing happens within safe, trusting relationships.
There is no "right" timeline for growth.
People are doing the best they can with the resources they have.
Small changes can create meaningful transformation.
Curiosity creates more room for healing than judgment.
You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
